8.3.12 Additional information ("Diagnostics")

Oscillation width score (see below)
The oscillation width score is specified in % and provides a prediction about how long the
sensor will withstand the specified dynamic amplitude load.
If you operate the sensor within the permissible (permanent) oscillation width, then this
score will not be increased. If the peak-to-peak force value for your application exceeds
the specified oscillation width, then the system calculates an estimated value that
specifies how long the sensor can continue to operate under the given load. Once 100%
is reached, it can be assumed that damage will be caused, making it necessary to replace
the sensor.
Tip
Use a sensor with a higher nominal (rated) force if you notice that the score changes or
you receive an IO-Link EVENT with a corresponding warning.
