8.3.11 Alarms (IO-LINK events)
The electronics monitor the sensor and compare the mechanical and thermal stresses on
a continuous basis against the limit values of the force sensor. In the event of thermal
monitoring, these are also compared to the limit values of the electronic components.
The electronics uses a very high sample rate to evaluate the mechanical stress. Even very
short maximum forces are recorded and a message will be issued if the limit values are
exceeded. As the output of measurement values via the digital data interface/IO-Link
connection is completed at a lower sample rate, it may be the case that you cannot find a
force value, that was registered as a force overshoot, in the measurement data.
