Filter
The electronics provides low-pass filters. You can select the Butterworth or Bessel
characteristic. The filter frequencies can be set by numerical inputs ranging from 0.01 Hz
to 1000 Hz
S
Select the "Low Pass Filter Mode" menu to enable/disable the filter and to select the
filter characteristics (Butterworth or Bessel)
S
Use the "Filter Low Pass Cut Off Frequency" menu item to enter the cut-off frequency
In the event of a signal jump, a Butterworth filter will overshoot, i.e., higher values than
were actually measured will be issued for a short time, while the response time is very
low. Bessel filters do not overshoot in the event of a signal jump, but do have a
significantly longer settling time. For this purpose, observe the signal runtime in the
specifications.

Limit value switch (limit switches, switching signals)
There are two limit value switches that are executed as per the IO-Link smart sensor
profile specification ([smart sensor profile] B.8.3 quantity detection):
S
Switch 1: SSC.1 (switching signal channel 1)
S
Switch 2: SSC.2 (switching signal channel 2)
