You can also teach-in the switching points, as described for the smart sensor profile.
For this process, the menu contains the "Teach" sub-item.
First of all, select which switching signal channel you would like to teach in. By activating
"Teach SP1" or "Teach SP2", you can then specify the switching point with the force that
is currently being measured.
For the single point method, you only have to teach-in SP1, the hysteresis is entered
(see above).
Both switching points must be taught-in when using the two point or Windows function.
You can enter a hysteresis for the range monitoring (window).

Assignment of digital switching outputs ("Digital IO")

You can issue the limit value switch with the IO-Link process data and as a digital IO with
a switching voltage of 24 V (max. 50 mA). If you would like to do this, you must assign a
limit switch to the digital switching outputs. To do so, open the "Digital IO" menu

"DI/DO pin function" determines which limit value switch is assigned to PIN 2 of the
connector. This digital output is always available when the device is in operation.

"C/Q pin function in SIO-mode" determines which limit value is assigned to PIN 4 of
the connector when the device is operated in SIO mode. SIO mode means that the
force measurement chain is not connected to an IO-Link master or that the IO-Link
master is being operated in SIO mode. The force measurement chain of PIN 4 is auto­
matically switched from data transfer to the digital switching output. Please note that
in this operating state there are two switching outputs, but that no other measurement
data or process data are transferred.
