Process data IO-Link master ->
Device (force transducer)
Data stream for On-Demand data
Process data device (force
transducer) -> IO-Link master
The measurement value and control state of the limit value switch, as well as warnings
(see below) are transferred using the six process data bytes PDin0 to PDin5. The
measurement data is in the first four bytes (PDin0 to PDin3). The measurement data is
transferred in float format. The transfer is completed with every cycle; the cycle time is
dependent on the master and parameterization that is used.
Typical latency times from the change in force through to the evaluation by a PLC are
between 3 and 10 milliseconds (amongst other things, dependent on the used IO-Link
master, fieldbus, PLC) if the filters (see below) in the electronics are deactivated.
On-Demand data is issued upon request (and transferred with the help of bytes OD_0 and
OD_1 illustrated above). This includes:
S
Temperature information
S
Sensor information (manufacturer, order code, serial number)
Other results are transferred as IO-Link events, if required. A bit is set in the "CKS" byte
for this purpose. Further information on the warning can be called up as On-Demand data.
S
Exceeding the nominal (rated) force or operating force range
S
Exceeding the nominal (rated) temperature range or operating force range
S
Exceeding the dynamic load (permissible oscillation stress)

General displays

The following information is always available and is generally displayed once you have
established the connection between the electronics and an IO-Link master.
Please note: The display can vary depending on which IO-Link master and software are
used as this is determined by the master/software GUI.
