CONTROL SYSTEM/FUEL SYSTEM
3. Adjust:
G YPVS cables 1 and 2
Adjustment steps:
G Loosen locknuts 1 and 2.
Turn in adjusters 3 and 4 until there
G
is slack in the cables.
Align the hole a in the pulley with the
G
hole in the cylinder.
G Insert a 4-mm-diameter pin through
the holes in the pulley and cylinder.
G Turn adjusters 3 and 4 in or out until
the specified slack is obtained.
Turn in
Turn out
G Finger tighten locknuts 1 and 2.
Remove the pin.
G
G Start and stop the engine.
Recheck the hole alignment.
G
If the hole alignment is correct, tighten
G
the locknuts.
If the hole alignment is incorrect,
G
repeat the above steps.

FUEL SYSTEM

WARNING
Stop the engine, set the fuel cock to
G
"OFF" before servicing the fuel system.
G When removing fuel system parts, wrap
them in a cloth and take care that no fuel
spills into the engine compartment.

Fuel line inspection

1. Inspect:
Fuel filter 1
G
Contaminants → Replace.
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Water contamination → Replace and
check the fuel tank.

G
Fuel hoses through part
G
G Fuel filler cap
Cracks/damage → Replace.

Slack is increased.
Slack is decreased.
