Water inlet strainer inspection

1. Inspect:
Water inlet strainer
G
Contaminants → Clean.
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Inspection steps:
Remove the ride plate.

Refer to "JET PUMP UNIT" in Chapter
6.
Remove the water inlet cover 1.
G
G Inspect the water inlet strainer mesh

Install the water inlet cover.
G
G Install the ride plate.
Refer to "JET PUMP UNIT" in Chapter
6.

Bilge strainer inspection

1. Inspect:
Bilge strainer
G
Contaminants → Clean.
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Inspection steps:
G Remove the ventilation hose and elec-
trical box.
Refer to "ELECTRICAL BOX" in Chap-
ter 7.
Remove the coupling cover.
G
G Disconnect the bilge strainer 1 from
the bilge strainer holder.
Inspect the bilge strainer.
G
Install the coupling cover.
G
Install the electrical box and ventila-
G
tion hose.
Refer to "ELECTRICAL BOX" in Chap-
ter 7.

GENERAL

Drain plug inspection

1. Inspect:
G Drain plugs
Cracks/damage → Replace.
O-rings
G
Cracks/wear → Replace.
G Screw threads
Contaminants → Clean.
