Installation steps:
Install the intermediate housing.

Measure the clearance a at each bolt

hole.
Install the suitable shim from the table

below.
Clearance a
0–0.2 mm
(0–0.008 in)
0.3–0.7 mm
(0.012–0.028 in)
0.8–1.2 mm
(0.031–0.047 in)
1.3–2.0 mm
(0.051–0.079 in)
NOTE:
Install the shim(s) to the original position if
the intermediate housing is not replaced.
