Throttle valve synchronization inspection
and adjustment
1. Check:
G Throttle valve synchronization
Different clearances → Adjust.
Checking steps:
G Loosen the throttle stop screw 1 until
untouched the screw end from the
throttle lever.
G Check the each throttle valve is fully
closed a.
2. Adjust:
Throttle valve synchronization
G
Adjustment steps:
Loosen the throttle stop screw 1 until
G
untouched the screw end from the
throttle lever.
G Loosen the screws 2.
NOTE:
Make sure that the throttle valves are in
the fully closed position.
Tighten the screws 2.
G
Screw:
2 N • m (0.2 kgf • m, 1.4 ft • lb)
Turn in the throttle stop screw to the
G
original position.
