10. Operation

a) Enabling the changeover contact

The changeover contact of the code lock (and thus, for example, a connected door opener) can
be enabled as follows depending on the set operating mode (see chapter 9. c):
Operating mode 1 = Activation via the transponder
The transponder must be held in front of the sensor surface (area above the keypad) at a maxi-
mum distance of about 3 cm. If a valid transponder has been detected, the changeover contact
will be enabled (activation time according to the time set in chapter 9. k).
Operating mode 2 = Activation via the user code or the transponder
If you enter a valid user code for the code lock or hold a tuned in transponder in front of the sen-
sor surface (at a maximum distance of approx. 3 cm), the changeover contact will be enabled
(activation time according to the time set in chapter 9. k).
Operating mode 3 = Activation via the user code and the transponder
Both a user code and a transponder are required to enable the output. The transponder must
be held in front of the sensor surface. After the successful detection of a valid transponder, the
user code must be entered.
You can also enter the user code first and then hold the transponder in front of the code lock.
Only now the changeover contact will be enabled (activation time according to the time set in
chapter 9. k).
To check that the changeover contact is enabled, the control LED will light up green.
If an invalid user code has been entered or a non tuned in transponder has been held
in front of the code lock, the code lock will emit 4 short sound signals and the control
LED will light up red.
