Manual / Automatic mode

Function description:
• The user can also control the timer manually via the GUI (PRI7000 or PRIweb)
using the operating mode selection Manual mode.
• The active operation mode is selected via the GUI and displayed via the output
bits "Control in Manual" / "Control in Automatic" of the higher-level control.
9.8.1

Manual mode

• This mode must be selected via the global parameter "Control mode" (selection
= "User interface (PRI7000)" or switch in "PRIweb").
• Prerequisite for switching to this mode is that the robot is NOT in automatic
mode. (Input "Robot Automatic"). Otherwise a corresponding warning is set.
• In this case, the global parameter "Control mode" is automatically reset to
"External control" by the controller.
• If the "Robot automatic" input is set during manual mode, the controller remains
in manual mode and the input is not evaluated further in this case.
• After switching on the controller, the application is started and evaluates the
"Robot automatic" input.
• If " User interface (PRI7000)" is selected and the "Robot automatic" input is not
set, the controller switches to manual mode.
• If the "Robot automatic" input is set, the global parameter "Control mode" is
automatically reset to "External control" by the controller.
• In manual mode, the controller is then in positioning mode and can accept
commands from the start simulation.
• The prerequisites of the digital I/Os must be met (weld enable / stop / ...).
• With change to manual mode, the state of the gun is maintained.
• The output "Control in Manual" is set when manual mode is active.
• In this mode, the PRI outputs the self-acknowledging warning "Startsimulation
is enabled (20069)".
• No IO signals are linked for the start simulation functions
e.g . Weld on/ off, energy saving, etc.
• Special case: "Target position" / "Target position valid" are evaluated.
• The counters are not operated.
• The button "Start simulation prepare spot" has no function. The spot selection is
made automatically with each command.
9.8.2

Automatic mode

• This mode can be selected via the global parameter "Control mode" (selection
= "External control").
• The output "Control in automatic" is set in this mode as soon as the signals of
the EA field are connected.
• After switching on, the system waits until the field bus is running. Until then no
programs are active in the control.
• It is then switched to "External control" independently of the inputs "Robot in
Manual" or "Robot in Automatic".
• Involved parameters:
