• For spots that are necessary to operate the system (service programs), the spot
names are headed with an S_.
• (Ex: S_0_1101_ActivateGun), followed by a 0 and the service spot number. The
service spot numbers range from 1100 to 2199 and are permanently assigned
in the application.
• Like the associated WeldJobs, the service spot numbers are absolutely
necessary for operation (suitable import files may have to be created).
• Structure spot name:
The spot name / spot selection is composed of the "vehicle
•
ident" and the spot number.
(Example for a spot name FT10_PKT12345678_xxxx: vehicle
•
ident 10, spot number 12345678, + free text).
All non-digits can be used as separators throughout the spot
•
name. In the free text, numbers, letters and some special
characters may be used.
In case of invalid special characters, an appropriate message
•
will be displayed.
• "Wild Card":
No wild card rule applies.
The spot selection must be done expilcitly. (Vehicle ident and spot number
must both be present) otherwise a spot selection error will occur.
• The spot selection procedure is described in the above-mentioned IO list at the
bits "New spot selection", "Spot selection valid" and "Spot selection data valid".
• Note: During the execution of a welding cycle or a service program or the set
"Start" input, a new spot selection is not possible.
If the "New spot selection" bit is set, this is done after the welding or service
program run.
9.2

Activating the brake

9.2.1

Function description

• When the "Activate brake" bit is set, the enabled drive is set directly to the "Ab"
state (Ready for enable).
• Started movement commands are aborted and the clamp is stopped.
• After the stop, the motor brake is closed.
• The "Servo control ready" bit is reset to FALSE when the brake is activated.
