Description
• With this value the timer is shown in which position the gun must
move. Zero position is closed with gun, without force, with undressed
tips and new shafts.
• If the setpoint is set validly for a movement command (setpoint
position valid = TRUE), the current setpoint position is taken as the
opening dimension after the movement command at the moment the
command is executed.
• The target position is invalid if it is outside the movement limits of the
gun or the signal "Programmed stroke position valid" is not set.
• If the "Programmed stroke position valid" signal is not set, the opening
position of the respective world job is approached after processing
movement commands.
• The target position can have positive and negative values, the format
used is the two's complement.
• Component number: This identifier is added to the data of the welding
log so that a subsequent assignment of the information to a specific
component of a car body is possible.
• The inputs are interpreted as 8-bit ASCII characters. The ASCII_0
character corresponds to the first character of the name. These inputs
are read in at each sequence (= start recognized).
• By applying an electrode number (Visu) and the corresponding input,
the following electrode maintenance routines can be performed, (see
the following 4 acknowledgement bits)
• With the application of an electrode number (Visu) and the
corresponding input, the following electrode maintenance routines are
executed:
Input "Acknowledgement tip dress Visu"
-> Update status output
-> Output "Echo acknowledgement tip dressing Visu".
- Input "Acknowledgement tip changed Visu"
-> Update status output
-> Output "Echo acknowledge tip change Visu"
- Input "Acknowledgement dressing change (visualization)
-> Update status output
-> Output "Echo acknowledgement dressing blade change Visu".
- Input "Acknowledgement gun changed Visu" -> Update
-> Update status output
-> Output "Echo acknowledge gun change Visu".
• When the respective input signal is recognized, the corresponding
counters are reset, the status outputs are updated and an echo is
output.
• These routines are operated exclusively if the change of the
respective inputs takes place in the sequence-free time (before start
or after resetting of the update contact) of the control.
