Description
• Starting the dressing cutter.
• The cutter stops automatically after 60 sec
(Alpha version: without feedback...), if the
service program 1124 has not been executed
before.
Stopping the cutter.
• Pulse start dressing:
• A parameterized number of dressing
sequences is carried out without ignition with
the Weldjob parameters stored in the service
program.
• A check is first made to see whether the
dressing cutter has reached the target speed.
• Prerequisites for this are loaded and activated
parameters, as well as drive and positioning
enable.
• As well as completed reference run and known
tip/tip position.
• At the end of the service program, an
automatic "Acknowledge tip dress" (resetting
of the wear counters) is performed if the target
force has been reached at least once within
the dressing sequences.
• This also applies to faulty / aborted dressing
processes.
• After execution of the service program, a
position reset must be performed.
• Sequence pulse dressing:
The same sequence as start dressing, only a
different welding task is called.
• Acknowledgement of the tip change.
• The control sets the electrode status to "New
electrode" and deletes the wear counters.
• The next measuring run determines the value
"Tip distance after tip change".
• Control tip dresser in counterclockwise rotation
to loosen tip.
• The (negated!) electrode parameter "Tip
Dresser speed" is taken as the speed setpoint.

• Control the tip dresser in clockwise rotation to
loosen the tip.
• The electrode parameter "Tip Dresser speed"
is taken as the speed setpoint.
