5 Basic Mode and MyModes
The prosthesis comes with the following modes, which can be selected by the user:

• Basic mode

• MyMode 1
The MyModes can be activated using X-Soft and adapted to the patient (see 647G819=* Instructions for Use for
X-Soft).
5.1 Basic mode
This mode is intended for daily use.
5.2 MyModes
MyModes are intended for specific motion patterns or postures. There are 5 MyModes available in X-Soft. These
MyModes can be assigned to the following motion patterns and postures, for example:
• Cycling
• Flexed standing
• Inline skating / Ice skating
• Cross-country skiing
• Extended standing
The MyModes parameters can be adjusted in X-Soft. Limited adjustment is also possible using the remote control.
5.3 Switching options
There are two options for switching between MyModes:
MyMode motion switching (see Section 6)
This option must be activated via a control box in X-Soft (bounce 3 times, bounce 4 times). Motion switching is only
available for MyMode 1, MyMode 2 and basic mode.
MyMode switching using the remote control (see Section 7.5)
Basic mode and all MyModes are available using the remote control.
6 MyMode Motion Switching
CAUTION
Improper switching between MyModes. If an improper switching procedure from MyModes into basic mode or
vice versa occurs, there is a danger of falling (see Section 7.5 MyMode Switching Using the Remote Control).
• After switching to a MyMode, verify the function since you may have activated a MyMode other than the inten-
ded one (see Section 6 "MyMode Motion Switching" and Section 7.5 "MyMode Switching Using the Remote
Control").
• Ensure that you return to basic mode when you have completed your activities in the MyMode.
