6 PARKING
On badly lit roads, leave the parking lights on.
Turn the key switch to position P "
key from the switch.
IMPORTANT
Never leave parking lights on for long periods
or the battery will run down.
7 ÖHLINS - V11 C
DAMPER
The steering damper is on the motorcycle left side be-
tween the frame and the steering crown.
Turn the ring nut "A" clockwise or anti-clockwise to in-
crease or decrease the braking effect.
The steering damper is set at the factory to 10 clicks
starting from fully closed position.
It makes steering more precise and stabile, thus improv-
ing motorcycle roadability under any conditions.
Note: do not change this setting so not to affect
vehicle stability and safety while riding.
8 ADJUSTING THE HEADLIGHT BEAM –

AFÉ PORT
The headlight beam should always be kept adjusted to
the correct height to ensure good visibility and to avoid
dazzling oncoming traffic. For horizontal adjustment,
tighten or loosen screw "A", and for vertical adjustment
loosen the 2 screws "B" which hold the light, and move it
up or down until the beam light reaches the height indi-
cated in the figure.
