WARNING
The fuel contained in the tank is highly
inflammable.

Flames, cigarettes and other objects emitting
heat, if present during tank removal procedures
or in places where fuel is stored, are a great risk
for the operator.
Always work in well ventilated places.

ISASSEMBLY
•
Turn ignition switch to OFF "
•
Remove saddle as described in sub-section 4 of
C
section E ;
•
Loosen and remove retaining screw "A";
•
Remove washer "B";
•
Partially raise tank

Put a cloth under quick couplings in case of fuel
leaks.
•
Disconnect pipes from fuel delivery "C" and return
"D" couplings.
•
Disconnect breather pipe from coupling "E".
•
For "USA" versions: disconnect fuel vapors blow-by
pipe from coupling "F";
•
Disconnect electrical connectors "G" from fuel electric
pump and "H" connectors from fuel level sensor;
•
Remove tank.
WARNING
Hand tank with care. Do not score or damage
paintwork.
Put tank on a clean surface, with the pump unit
facing upwards.

EASSEMBLY
•
At reassembly, follow the disassembly procedure in
reverse order.
