CHECKING THE STEERING HANDLE

Check:
• Steering friction
• Throttle lever
Crack/damage → Replace.
• Throttle cable
Bent/broken → Replace.
ASSEMBLING THE STEERING
HANDLE
1. Install:
• Steering handle 1
• Throttle lever
• Throttle friction
2. Connect:
• Throttle cable
• Throttle cable
NOTE:
• Connect the inner cable end in the
groove, and fit the outer cable end into
the hole.
• Apply Yamaha grease A (water resis-
tant grease) to the throttle lever and
throttle cable.
