Commissioning SITRANS LUT400
We recommend that you configure your application in the following order:
• First, run the appropriate Quick Start Wizard for your application (Level, Volume, Flow).
• Next, setup pumps via the Pump Control Wizard (if applicable).
• Lastly, configure alarms, or other controls, totalizers and samplers, referencing the
respective parameters (see full Operating Instructions).
There are two ways to access the Quick Start Wizards:

Activating SITRANS LUT400
Power up the device. SITRANS LUT400 automatically starts up in Measurement mode. A
transition screen showing first the Siemens logo and then the current firmware revision of the
LUI is displayed while the first measurement is being processed.
The first time the device is configured, you will be prompted to select a language (English,
German, French, Spanish or Chinese).
The correct date and time should be set prior to configuring the device. (To modify, set
