5.3 Wechsel des Druckkopfes und des
Druckkopfkabels
Netzstecker ziehen!
Erden Sie sich vor dem Ent-
fernen oder dem Einbau des
Druckkopfes am Gehäuse.
Dadurch wird der Druckkopf vor
einer statischen Entladung Ihres
Körpers durch den Druckkopf in
die Erde geschützt.
1. Drucker ausschalten, Deckel öffnen.
2. Druckkopf hochklappen, Etiketten und Transferband
aus dem Drucker entfernen.
3. Druckkopf herunterklappen.
4. Feststellschraube für Druckkopf (1) lösen.

5. Druckkopf mit Hebel (2) entriegeln, auf die obere
Position heben und von den Haltestiften
abziehen.
6. Gehäuse abschrauben.
7. Stecker des Druckkopfkabels (6) von der Leiter-
platte abziehen.
8. Druckkopfkabel soweit durch die Öffnung (4) in
der Montagewand schieben, bis der Druckkopf
(8) mit dem Kabel seitlich aus dem Bereich der
Druckkopfhalterung gezogen werden kann.
Dadurch wird der Steckverbinder (7) am Druck-
kopf besser zugänglich.
9. Buchsenleiste und Stecker (7) am Druckkopf (8)
zunächst an der Unterseite vorsichtig mit einem
Schraubendreher wechselseitig auseinander-
hebeln, bis die Buchsenleiste an der Oberseite
vollständig abgehebelt werden kann.

5.3 Replacing the printhead and the
printhead cable
Unplug power cord!
Ground yourself to the chassis
before you remove or install the
printhead. This will prevent a
static discharge from your body
through the printhead to
ground.
1. Power off printer, open cover.
2. Open the printhead, remove label stock and transfer
ribbon from the printer.
3. Close the printhead.
4. Release printhead mounting screw (1).

5. Lift printhead to the upper position and remove it from
the dowel pins.
6. Open side cover/housing.
7. Remove plug of the printhead cable (6) from the PCB.
8. Push printhead cable through the opening (4) in the
assembly plate, until the printhead (8) and the cable
can be laterally removed from the printhead mount
bracket. This will provide for access to the plug
connector (7).
9. Loosen female connector board and plug connector (7)
at printhead (8) carefully from underneath using a
screw driver as a lever, until female connector board
can be fully removed from the top side.
