Seat belt maintenance

Check the safety restraint belt
Procedure
• Pull out the belt completely and check for fraying
• Test the belt buckle and make sure the belt returns correctly into the retractor.
• Check the cover for damage.
Testing the automatic blocking system
Procedure
• Park the truck on a level surface.
• Pull out the seat belt with a jerk

The interlock must prevent the belt from coming out.
The seat belt service is now complete.
DANGER!
A faulty seat belt can cause injury
Using a faulty seat belt can result in injury.
Only operate the truck with the seat belt intact. A faulty seat belt should be replaced
immediately.
The truck must remain decommissioned until a functional seat belt has been fitted.
