Transporting a load
F
If the load is stacked so high that it affects forward visibility, then reverse.
– Gently accelerate with the accelerator
pedal (6) and slowly brake with the
brake pedal (7). Be ready to brake at
all times.
– Adapt your travel speed to the
conditions of the route and the load
you are transporting.
– Watch out for other traffic at crossings
and passageways.
– Always travel with a lookout at
blindspots.
F
On slopes and inclines always carry the
load facing uphill, never approach at an
angle or turn.
Depositing a load
– Drive the truck carefully up to the load
handler.
– Apply the parking brake (3).
– Set the mast vertical.
– Raise the forks to the correct height for
the load handler.
– Release the parking brake.
– Carefully enter the load handler.
– Slowly lower the load until the forks
are free.
M
Avoid depositing the load suddenly to
avoid damaging the load and the load
handler.
F
You can only tilt forward when the load
handler is raised in front of or above the
stack.
