– Attach your optional units to the RA-510M.
Note: If you attach the GA42 Printer,
• its DIP switch 2 must be set to OFF (see GA42 Operating Instructions).
• you have to select it with function No. 7 (see Section 8.8).
– Connect the power cable supplied to the power supply and switch on the instrument. The
voltage range of the power supply unit is between 100 and 240 V. It automatically adapts
itself to the specific line voltage of your country.

After a short time, this display is over-
written by that of method 0:
"No sample" means that there is no sam-
ple in the measuring cell.
The temperature value flashes and is
shown in reverse video until the unit has
warmed up and the measuring cell attai-
ned 20 °C (standard temperature). The
warm-up time is approx. 15 min.
The RA-510M is now ready for opera-
tion.
