"Sequence" parameters

If you enter "1 1 1 1 1" for "Sequence" (see Section 7.3.1) under the measurement parame-
ters and confirm with ENTER, the following mask appears:

Note: You obtain the optimum time for all paramaters by preliminary experiments with
sample and solvents.
If you enter " 2 2 1 1 1" for "Sequence" under the measurement parameters and confirm with

O.S.Rate: is the percentage, which is added to the automatically determined sampling time
to the prism. If this is, e.g. 2 seconds and the O.S.Rate, e.g. 50%, the additional sampling
time is 1 second (2*50/100).
D.Rate: is the percentage of the effective sampling time in which the tubes should be
drained. If this is, e.g. 5 seconds, the pump drains the tubes in 3.5 seconds if 70% is entered.

Measurement procedure

– Make ready beaker with sample and the two solvents and a drying tube if used.
– Place the suction tube in the beaker with the sample being measured.
– Press the Meas. key:
