8.2 Recalculation (function 1: Re-Calcu.)
You can change or recalculate each result with this function by changing either the refractive
index of the measured sample or, for concentration results, the calculation function of the
active method in advance. The old values are overwritten, also for statistical evaluations.

– As soon as you have changed the nD value and confirmed this with ENTER, a new Brix or
Conc value is displayed. The Conc value is calculated with the current calculation para-
meters.
– If you change only the calculation function in advance, the recalculated Conc value is
displayed as soon as you have confirmed the sample number.
Note: If no result is available for the entered sample number, "[- - - - - - - -]" appears for the
nD value.
8.3 Automatic statistics evaluation (function 2: Auto Statis.)
The RA-510M evaluates the results of a series automatically and stores the statistical data
mean value, standard deviation and relative standard deviation.
Each method has its own result memory whose statistical values are cleared only after you
have entered a new series number for this method (see Section 7.3.4) or reset the
parameters to default (see Section 8.9). You can delete individual results of a series, e.g.
outliers which should not be included in the statistical evaluation (see Section 8.5).
