10. Setting Options

 on the Model Vehicle
Once you have familiarized yourself with the driving characteristics of the model, you can proceed to
optimizing the running characteristics of the model.
However, the explanations of the correlation between chassis set up settings and driving behavior are
very complex and would go beyond the scope of these instructions. For this reason, we can only show
the setting options provided.
For further information we have to refer you to appropriate specialist magazines as well as compre-
hensive reference books on this subject.

a) Alignment

Besides the adjustable steering linkage at the servo
saver, the car is equipped with two adjustable steering
links (1) at the front axle. With these links and rods the
straight run as well as turning behavior is adjusted.
The steering links can be turned easily with the help of
a flat spanner which is affixed to the center piece.
The length of the entire unit is modified via the left/
right thread, hence adjusted to the desired value.

b) Inclination

The car is equipped with adjustable transverse control
arms (1) at the front as well as at the rear axle, which

help to adjust the inclination of each wheel separately.
The adjustment is effected, as with the steering links,
through modifying the length by means of turning the
right/left thread via a flat spanner.
