A negative inclination (wheel top edges point inward) on the front wheels increases the later cornering
powers of the wheel when driving in bends, the steering reacts more directly, the steering forces are
reduced.
At the same time the wheel is pushed onto the axle leg in the direction of the axis. This stops an axial
bearing clearance, the driving behavior is calmer.
A negative inclination on the rear wheels reduces the tendency of the rear of the vehicle to swerve in
bends. By setting a negative inclination, the wear on the inside of the tires increases.
However, this effect can be compensated by setting a toe-in.

dampened suspensions, which offer various adjust-
ment possibilities.
By turning the adjusting screw (1) slightly, the bent
damper spring (2) can be pre-stressed to a lesser or
greater extent and thus, can be made harder or softer
in no time at all.
In addition, the disassembled upper part of the damper
can be screwed off and the damper can be filled, as
and when required, with different viscous oils. In com-

bination with various hard damper springs, road hold-
ing can be set from extremely soft to extremely hard.
In connection with the available suspension points at
the upper damper bridges (3) or at the lower transverse
links (4) the perfect damper calibration can be found.
The figures illustrate the front axle. The same possi-
bilities are available at the rear axle.
