c) Placing the Car Body

Guide the tube of the antenna from underneath the car body through the opening intended for that
purpose.
Place the car body onto the supports and secure them with four brackets (two brackets at the front
and two at the back). Use, if necessary, long or flat-nose pliers to place the brackets.
Your car is now ready for its first test run.
d) Steering the car
Operate the lever for the drive function very cautiously and do not drive too fast at the
beginning until you get used to the reactions of the car to the various commands.
Do not make quick jerky movements on the operating elements of the remote control.
If the vehicle shows a tendency to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the trans-
mitter accordingly.
If the steering behavior of the vehicle does not correspond to your expectations, you can increase or
reduce the steering radius by modifying the steering point on the steering servo.
e) Stopping the drive
To stop the drive, proceed as follows:
• Let the vehicle roll to a halt.
• Once the vehicle stops, remove the car body and put the on/off switch on the car (if available) in
the "OFF" position.
Make sure not to touch the wheels or the drive, and do not move, in any case, the lever for
the drive function on the remote control!
• Disconnect the drive battery from the cruise control. Loosen the plug-in connection completely.
• It is only now that the transmitter might be turned off.
Attention!
Motor and drive battery get very warm during operation and can, in certain conditions,
become very hot. Do not touch these parts immediately after operation.
Stop driving immediately when you notice unusual responses of the car to the control
commands on the transmitter or when the car no longer responds.
