Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the device exhibits visible damage
- the device does not operate any longer and
- the device was stored for a longer period of time in unfavorable conditions.
- the device was submitted to stress during transportation.
Always separate the rechargeable battery pack from the cruise control/receiver when you the vehicle
is not used. Take the batteries (or rechargeable batteries) out of the remote control.


12. Disposal

a) General information


Electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and storage batteries. Do not
dispose of used batteries via the household rubbish.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the fol-
lowing symbols which point out that they are not allowed to be disposed of in the domes-
tic refuse. The markings for hazardous heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury,
Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. under the rubbish bin icons on the
left).

You can return used batteries/accumulators free of charge to any collecting point in your
local authority, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/accumulators are sold.
Thus, you comply with your legal obligations and make your contribution to environmental protection.
