INSTALLATION OF THE THRU-AXLE HARDWARE
1- In the toolbox that accompanies your frame,
you will find a bag containing all the necessary
components for installing the version of the kit you
need.

2- Insert the notched shim washer on the outer
face of the left dropout and push it against it. Pre-
tighten using 2 M3x5 screws.
COTÉ EXTERIEUR
3- Repeat step 1 on the right dropout (the threaded
washer is a symmetrical part and can be used on
either the left or right side).
4- Insert the M12 nut on the outer face of the right
dropout and push it against it. Pre-tighten using 2
M3x5 screws.

5- Before fully tightening the 4 screws, degrease
the threads of the thru-axle, apply threadlocker,
then pre-thread it into the M12 nut while leaving
access to the M3x5 screws.
This ensures proper alignment of the hardware.
Remove the thru-axle and then tighten the 4 M3x5
screws to a torque of 1 Nm.
WARNING: : The heads of the screws
!
should not protrude from the countersinks,
otherwise the axle will press on them
instead of the flat surface of the washer.
6- Install the wheel and tighten the thru-axle with a
6mm Allen bit to a torque of 10 Nm after greasing
the threaded part of the axle.
INSTALLATION OF THE STANDARD AXLE
HARDWARE
1- Insert the threaded shim washer on the inner
face of the left dropout and push it against it.
COTÉ INTÉRIEUR
2- Insert the notched shim washer on the outer
face of the left dropout and push it against it.
Tighten using 2 M3x5 screws to 1 Nm.
COTÉ EXTERIEUR
3- Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the right dropout (the
washers are symmetrical parts and can be used
on either the left or right side).
