9.2. Lubrication
Make sure that the main switch is turned off!
Regularly clean the X-guide rail, Y-guide rail, Z-guide shafts and Z-lead spindles.

Regularly lubricate the X-guide rail and the Y-guide rail with HIWIN G05 grease. To
prevent corrosion of the Z-lead spindles, spray them regularly with silicone spray.
Only use approved industrial lubricants.
Do not use grease containing solid components such as graphite or molybde-
num disulfide (MoS
We recommend mineral oil-based lubricants for rolling or plain bearings. Ensure
that they are always covered by a thin lubricating film.
9.3. Tightening the Belts
Please contact customer service [support.bigrep.com] if the belt tension decreases
and the machine does not function properly.
9.4. Replacing the Protective Print Bed Tape
WARNING – Risk of Burns
The machine must never be used without the print bed tape covering the print
bed. Risk of burns! In case of burns consult a doctor immediately!
Damages to the protective foil on the print bed can affect the printing result in the
bottom layer. You can order new protective foil as well as instructions for the re-
placement in the customer portal. [support.bigrep.com]
9.5. Safety Checks
The operator must ensure a constant control and update of the safety of the
machine. For this a yearly electro-technical test is necessary (e.g. according to
DGUV A3)
