XY-Offsets for extruder T1
The XY calibration prepares the machine for dual extrusion. The calibration must
be done by the user after replacing the extruder or hotend and after any relocation
of the printer. It can also be done if the offset between the nozzles is recognized as
incorrect while using dual extrusion.
› Go to [support.bigrep.com] and download the XY offset calibration files for Stan-
dard Extruder with two 0.6 mm nozzles
› Step 1: Calculate the offsets with a resolution of 0.5 mm
‒ Print the G-code step1_0.6_XY_calibration.gcode which has a
resolution of 0.5 mm.
‒ When the print is finished, do not take it off the bed!
‒ Identify the offsets. The shapes printed with extruders T0 and T1 should just
match in one point. Identify the point in which they match and write down
the offset using the template below. (Fig. 7-4)
‒ Go to the Advanced Menu, update the offsets and save.
