4.1. Safety
DANGER – High Leakage Current
Danger to life due to high leakage currents. Earth connection essential before
reconnecting supply.
WARNING – Hand Injuries
During disassembly of the machine crate and the handling of the machine, the
user is in risk of crushing hand injuries.
Always disconnect the power supply before moving the printer!
Only trained personnel are allowed to handle the machine with the required
load-bearing equipment. During the handling of the machine the personnel must
wear appropriate personal protective equipment. The machine must only be load-
ed and unloaded on a level ground.
The transport area must not be accessible to unauthorized persons. Staying under
the lifted load is prohibited. Mark the danger area and secure it.
Additionally, the loading and unloading zones must be equipped with a appropri-
ate lightning or day light. The handling of the machine must be done by at least
two persons. Once the machine is moved to its operation location, it needs to be
secured by locking the integrated machine feet.
4.2. Transport Options
Option 1: Transport Rollers
For short distances the machine can be rolled on the integrated transport rollers in
the machine feet at the bottom of the frame. . This must only be limited to minimal
movements to prevent any unexpected wear of the machine feet and to avoid the
risks of bumps and uneven grounds.
Important: The transport rollers must be locked immediately after transport to
avoid any accidental movement of the device. On tilted floors, the device must be
additionally secured to prevent accidental movement.
Perform the following steps for all four transport rollers:
› To unlock the transport rollers, turn the idler wheel counterclockwise until the
roller completely touches the ground.
› To lock the transport rollers turn the idler wheel clockwise until the stamp com-
pletely touches the ground (see Fig. 4-1).
Important: Make sure that the roller is always in contact with the ground. The
stamp must not be used to align the machine.
