2.6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Apart from using personal protective equipment, the user shall not wear loose
clothing, loose hair and jewelry.
When using the machine the following personal protective equipment is recom-
mended:
Heat-resistant gloves
Reduces the risk of the hot build surface and other heated components, e.g mo-
tors.
Cut-resistant gloves
When taking out / extracting parts from the printer, sharp tools are used to detach
the parts from the build bed. We strongly advice the use of cut-resistant gloves
and to wear safety glasses when removing parts.
Safety glasses
Reduce the risk of eye injury when detaching parts from the build surface or work-
ing with molten filament.
Shoes with toe protection
Larger printed objects can be very heavy. Wear protective shoes with a strength-
ened toe box when removing to avoid injury.
Helmet
Reduce the risk when working inside the machine
2.7. Limits Of Use
The printer is not appropriate for
› heating food.
› printing food.
› illumination of rooms.
Do not use any materials that are hazardous to health for printing.
The machine must never be used without the print bed tape covering the print bed.
Only print on a free print bed. Printing on objects is not permitted and can result in
damage to the machine as well as fire hazards!
2.8. Disposal / Environmental Protection
It is recommended that the disposal of the printer is performed by a specialist
disposal company. The regulations for waste disposal of the country in which the
printer is used apply at the time of disposal. Users are obliged to comply with waste
disposal regulations.
Please follow the manufacturer's specifications for the disposal of filament.
