Service instructions
The information in this chapter is intended to show the main steps to be taken
when servicing the tool. For detailed information on the included parts, see the
exploded views/tables.
Preventing ESD problems
The components inside the tool and controller are sensitive to electrostatic dis-
charge. To avoid future malfunction, make sure that service and maintenance is
carried out in an ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.

Required tools:
• Screwdriver T8
• Small flat-bladed screwdriver
Opening the cover
1. Remove the four screws indicated by circles.
Do not open the unit when faced down.
2. With the unit in upright position, open the housing carefully to the left.
Do not strain the flat cable from the front.
Do not loose the USB isolator.
