c) Close the safety cover as intended at the fac-
tory.
 The housing is now cleaned.

Two openings are provided for cleaning the heat
exchanger on the K 160 and K 120. One is located
on the exhaust pipe nozzle.
a) Loosen the screw connection of the flange
and remove the cover plate.
b) Open the first cleaning opening of the heat
exchanger.
The second cleaning opening of the heat ex-
changer is located on the outlet side of the heat
exchanger.
a) Remove the maintenance covers and open the
second cleaning opening of the heat exchang-
er.
b) Clean the heat exchanger with a pipe brush
and vacuum the dissolved soot with a suitable
vacuum cleaner.
c) Mount the safety covers in the same way as
they were installed at the factory.
 You have now cleaned the heat exchanger.

Inspecting the electrical system
DANGER
Touching electrically live parts can be fa-
tal.
Improper or inadequate inspection and mainte-
nance can lead to device components becoming
live during operation due to a defect.
a) Inspection of the electrical system should
only be conducted by a qualified electrician.
b) After the work has been completed, install
and test all the safety devices as intended.
a) Check all the device's electrical components
visibly for signs of external damage, loose
contacts and contamination. Remove the
safety cover in order to inspect the internal
wiring. Remove any external contamination
with a lint-free cloth and replace any defec-
tive or damaged components.
b) If used commercially in Germany: Conduct an
annual DGUVV3 examination in accordance
with the Berufsgenossenschaft (trade associ-
ation) requirements and keep a record of it.
 The inspection of the device's electrical sys-
tem is now complete.
20.2
Burner maintenance
NOTICE
In addition, observe all instructions regarding
maintenance intervals and handling of the burner
components in the applicable operating manual of
the burner manufacturer.
The burner maintenance must be carried out regu-
larly (observe the instructions in the maintenance
table and in the operating manual of the burner
manufacturer) and includes the following work:
– Replace oil filter
