The following principles apply when cleaning and
maintaining the device:

Remedy
Install the room
thermostat in a
different place.
For correct con-
trol, it is important
to install the room
thermostat in the
room to be heated
in such a way that
no hot air flow or
heat radiation, e.g.
from the sun,
neighbouring ma-
chines, hot water
or steam pipes,
hits it. If applicab-
le, relocate the
room thermostat
Check whether
the temperature
controller is work-
ing, replace it if
necessary.
Measure the volt-
age at the fan
with a two-pole
voltage tester.

These tasks may only be carried out by trained
and authorized specialists.
a) Switch off the device before starting work,
wait until the cooling phase has elapsed and
then disconnect the mains plug.
b) Wear suitable personal protective equipment.
c) Disconnect the burner plug.
d) Close the oil shut-off valve.
e) Before recommissioning, install all the safety
devices as attached at the factory.
f) Once the work has been completed, re-
establish the connection between the burner
and the combustion chamber and open the oil
shut-off valve.
g) Check that the safety devices function
properly.
h) After completing the task, remove all the tools
and objects from the working area around the
device.
i) Use only original spare parts and accessories.
Maintenance work must be documented.
The replacement of electrical components must
be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Touching electrically live parts can be fatal.
a) Switch off the device and pull out the mains
plug.
CAUTION
Danger from the device being unintention-
ally started up
Uncontrolled starting of the burner or the fan can
lead to injuries.
