15.2.1
Intended use
The device is used for heating halls, rooms and
tents, as well as for point heating at repair points
outdoors and in closed rooms, for thawing and
heating machines, devices and pipelines, for dry-
ing rooms, hay and grain and as auxiliary heating
in emergencies.
The devices can also be used as stationary solu-
tions for halls and workshops.
The device may only be used for its intended pur-
pose.
Intended use also includes observance of the op-
erating conditions (see Operating conditions
[
51]).
Any other use or any application transcending the
specified use is considered improper use. Improp-
er use will result in all warranty claims becoming
void.

15.2.2
Improper use
Applications other than the intended use are pro-
hibited. Improper use may lead to danger.
– Improper use is, for example, when unauthor-
ised intervention is made in safety-relevant
components or the specified operating condi-
tions (e.g. fresh air limit values) are not com-
plied with or the device is insufficiently main-
tained.
15.2.3
Foreseeable misuses
The following types of misuse can be envisaged:
– Operation while ignoring prescribed safety
clearances
– Outdoor operation without frost and rain pro-
tection of the exhaust gas duct
– Operation in living quarters and recreation
rooms

The ISK series burner is located on the exhaust
side of the combustion chamber.
A HEYLO FPS (FlowSecure Preheating-System)
heating oil preheater is installed in the burner box.
The oil filter and the heating oil deaerator for the
single line system are also located here.
For maintenance purposes, the burner can be
disconnected from the combustion chamber via
the burner plug.
