Care and maintenance
Danger!

Before carrying out any care or maintenance
work on the unit, pull out the mains plug and turn off the
water supply.
Safety inspection/Maintenance
contract
You can arrange with your dealer to have a regular
safety inspection carried out or to have a maintenance
contract.
Please seek advice on this.
Before each use
Visual inspection
Check connection cable and control line for damage
(risk of electric shock); have any damaged cables
replaced immediately by authorised customer
service or an electrician.
Check high-pressure hose for damage (danger of
explosion), replace a damaged high-pressure hose
without delay.
Check unit (pump) for any leaks. 3 Three drops per
minute are allowable and can appear on the
underside of the cleaner. Seek the help of Customer
Service if leaks are more serious.
If oil is leaking (traces of oil on floor panel), contact
customer service.

Only check when the unit is switched off.
Check that the nozzle rotates easily. To do this,
turn the nozzle guide by hand.
Check air pressure in tyres.
Check the oil level. The oil must reach the middle
mark on the oil tank when the unit is level.
Performance test
Start the unit. A second person checks the following
points:
The display must indicate an operating pressure
between 1300 and 1500 bar.
The pump must not vibrate during operation.
Water must not flow out of the leakage bores on the
pump head or handgun.
The unit must switch off when the lever on the
handgun is released.
The water inlet pressure gauge indicates a pressure
between 2.5 and 10 bar. If the pressure is below 2.5
bar, check the water inlet, clean the coarse filter,
clean the fine filter (see "Maintenance").
Set nozzle rotation switch to "0" and check whether
water flows out behind the nozzle bracket.
Every 100 hours
Have a technician service the unit according to the
maintenance booklet.
Every 500 hours
Change the oil
– For oil quantity and type see Technical
Specifications.
– Undo fastening screws, remove unit cover, remove
cover of oil reservoir.
– Unscrew the oil drain plug.
– Drain oil into a suitable container.
– Screw in and tighten the oil drain plug.
– Fill slowly with fresh oil; air bubbles have to escape.
The oil must reach the middle mark on the oil tank
when the unit is level.
Annually
Inspection by a qualified technician in accordance
with the "Guidelines for liquid jet devices, BGV D15".
Every 3 years
Replace high-pressure hoses.
Maintenance work
Clean strainer at the water connection.
Pull out the strainer using flat nose pliers.
Clean strainer.
Reinsert the strainer.
Cleaning the coarse filter
Open the coarse-filter housing.
Remove filter screen, clean or replace.
Attach filter screen, close filter housing.
Check for leaks.
Replacing the fine filter
Warning!
The unit must never be operated without the fine
filter. Warranty invalidated if unit operated without the
fine filter.
Remove the hood.
Remove hose from filter housing.
Unscrew 4 screws which attach the filter housing and
remove filter housing.
Remove sealing ring and dirty filter disc from filter
housing.
First insert a new filter disc and then a new sealing
ring into the filter housing. (The filter disc cannot be
cleaned).
Re-attach the filter housing and hose.
