Electrical connection
Caution!
The voltage specified on the model rating plate
must correspond to the voltage supplied.
Caution!
Use an extension cable whose cable cross-
section is adequate (10 m = 2.5 mm², 30 m = 4 mm²)
and unreel it completely from the cable drum.
„ For connected loads see model rating plate/Technical
Specifications.
„ Check the rotational direction of the precompression
pump – arrow on the housing. If the rotational
direction is incorrect, press the phase inverter into the
mains plug using a screwdriver and turn by 180 °.
Evacuate air from the unit
„ Check the motor protection switch of the
precompression pump, reset if necessary.
„ Release the Emergency STOP pushbutton by
rotating it.
„ Set the nozzle rotation switch on the unit to "0".
„ Set the unit switch to "1".
„ Wait until "0000 bar" is displayed.
„ Hold the open end of the high-pressure hose over a
drain and pull the lever of the handgun. Release and
pull the lever several times until a uniform jet of water
is discharged.
„ Set the unit switch to "0".
„ The conical nipple of the high-pressure hose must
project over the screw-in end by 4–5 mm.
„ To adjust the spacing, turn the sleeve by hand or with a
pair of pliers (Caution! left-hand thread).
„ Lubricate the internal thread on the high-pressure
hose with the enclosed stainless-steel grease.

Operating the unit
Danger!
!
Risk of injury from high-pressure jet and swirling
dirt. Wear protective goggles, protective gloves,
protective clothing and special safety boots with mid
foot (foot arch) protection.
Danger!
!
The high-pressure jet generates a high noise
level when the unit is in use. Risk of damage to hearing.
When working with the unit, always wear suitable
hearing protection.
Danger!
!
The unit is not intended for use in potentially
explosive areas. Danger of explosion!
Caution!
Prolonged use of the unit may cause circulatory
problems in the hands due to vibrations.
How long the unit should be used for cannot be specified
as there are several influencing factors:
„ Personal predisposition to poor circulation
(frequently cold fingers, tingling fingers).
„ Low ambient temperature. Wear warm gloves to
protect the hands.
„ A firm grip impedes circulation.
„ Uninterrupted operation is worse than interrupted
operation with breaks.
If the unit is used regularly for long durations and
symptoms recur (e.g. tingling fingers, cold fingers), we
recommend an examination by a doctor.
Caution!
Dispose of detergent residue in an
environmentally friendly manner and according to
regulations.
Caution!
This unit must not be used for cleaning animals.
