Pour the selected powder for the specific
application into the powder container.
CAUTION: Always use the powder,
selecting the correct
prophy

Two maximum powder levels are shown
on the powder container:
• one for the specific supragingival
powders distributed by Mectron
(prophy)
• one for the specific subgingival
powders distributed by Mectron
(perio).
CAUTION: Do not exceed the
recommended levels for the different
types of powders.
Screw the cap of the powder container
back on;
CAUTION: Remove any powder
residue from the thread of the cap
before screwing it in.
Grab the starjet device properly, making
sure not to tilt it too much (> 45°) either
lengthways or sideways. To work with
greater inclinations, rotate the polisher
nozzles without tilting or rotating the en-
tire device;
CAUTION: Excessive or incorrect
inclination may produce a less efficient
jet.
