CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILISATION
Dry the starjet device with a clean, soft,
and low-lint cloth;
CAUTION: Do not sterilise starjet in an
autoclave. It may be damaged and cause
personal injury and/or property damage.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the starjet
device in various liquids and/or solutions as it
may be damaged.
6.3 Disinfecting the starjet Device
The following procedure must be carried out on the starjet device.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE as disinfectants::
• Very alkaline products (pH > 9);
• Products containing sodium
hypochlorite;
• Products containing hydrogen peroxide;
• Products containing abrasive substances;
• Very acid products (PH < 4);
• Products containing aldehyde, amine
6.3.1 Required Materials
• Disinfectant made with isopropyl alcohol
(> 60% v/v) and quarternary ammonium
compounds ;

• Clean, dry, and low-lint cloths

CAUTION: Do not immerse the starjet
device in the ultrasonic tank.
CAUTION: Do not use running water to
clean the starjet device.
and/or phenols
• Acetone;
• Methylethylketone;
since they may discolour and/or damage the
plastic materials.
The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any
damage caused by the substances mentioned
above. In case of damage caused by those
substances, the Warranty will be void.
f) Disinfectant with tuberculocidal declaration (pH 6-9).
The disinfection procedure has been validated by an
independent body using the following disinfectants
for surfaces: Discide Ultra - Disinfecting Spray -
Manufacturer: Palmero Healthcare LLC.
