g) Switching off the model boat
If the drive and steering functions are working properly, you can switch off the model boat and the remote control.
Always observe the procedure below:
1. Slide the switch on the model boat (see figure 8, no. 1) back to the "OFF" position.
2. Unlock the three locking knobs (see figure 6, no. 1) and lift off the canopy upwards.
3. Disconnect the drive battery from the electronics module of the model boat.
4. Finally, switch off the transmitter.
h) Adjusting the trim
When you switch on the transmitter, the current positions of the two trim sliders (see figure 2, nos. 4 and 8) are re-
corded electronically and adopted as the neutral value. It is therefore essential that the two trim sliders are always in
the middle position when you switch on the transmitter.
If the setting is correct, the two motors will not start even when the model boat is ready to go.
Adjusting the drive trim
If both motors rotate or even hum slightly, even though the joystick for drive function (see figure 2, no. 9) is in the
middle position, slide the trim slider for drive function (see figure 2, no. 8) slightly downward.
Adjusting the steering trim
To check the steering trim, simply push the joystick for drive function (see figure 2, no. 9) upwards. The joystick for
steering function (see figure 2, no. 3) is not used in this case.
If the model tends to deviate slightly to the left or right when moving straight, this can be balanced with the steering
trim. If the model boat deviates to the left, the trim slider for drive function (see also figure 2, no. 4) must be adjusted
to the right. If the model boat deviates to the right, the trim slider must be adjusted to the left.
