b) Checking the propellers
Important:
Always place the boat on a suitable surface so that the propellers can rotate freely. You can also make a
matching model boat stand using flexible materials such as hard foam or cardboard to place the model boat
on.
Never reach into the propellers when the rechargeable battery is connected or when the model boat is
ready for operation. The drive could start up unintentionally. The sharp propellers can cause severe injury!
Check the propellers and their locking nuts for tightness and damage before every use. Damaged propellers must be
replaced before use. Failure to do so may result in the propellers inadvertently getting loose or breaking apart during
operation. This may cause further damage to your model. In addition, your may lose control of your model.
With this in mind, follow the instructions in section "Changing the propellers".
c) Inserting the drive battery
Turn the three locking knobs (1) from the locked position
"LOCK" to the position "OPEN" and lift off the canopy (2).
You can easily do this using two small lugs (3) on the
canopy near the rear locking levers.
Raise the rear of the canopy until the front part is detached
from its anchorage.
To put the canopy back on later, proceed exactly in the
reverse order.
Place the drive battery (4) in a dedicated battery holder (5)
in the boat hull and secure with a rubber (6).
Important:
When inserting the rechargeable battery, make
sure no cables can get caught in the ventilation
propellers (7) of the motors.
