e) Switching on the model boat
The model boat receiver can only respond to the control signals from the transmitter if it is digitally linked to it. For this
purpose, the model boat and the remote control must be in close proximity to each other.
The model responds to the control commands from the transmitter only after it has been linked to it and activated.
Therefore, be sure to follow the procedure described below.
Important:
When switching on, there must be no other 2.4 GHz transmitter in the immediate vicinity of the model.
After connecting the drive battery to the model's electron-
ics module, check whether the trim slider for drive function
(see figure 2, no. 8) and the trim slider for steering function
(see figure 2, no. 4) are in the middle position. If neces-
sary, readjust the trim slider.
Then use the on/off switch (see also figure 2, no. 6) to
switch on the transmitter.
If the power supply is correct, the green LED (see also
figure 2, no. 2) on the transmitter will light up and the red
LED (see also figure 2, no. 10) will flash.
Now slide the on/off switch on the model boat (1) forwards
into the "ON" position. The red LED next to the switch (3)
glows steadily and the red LED on the electronics module
(4) flashes briefly.
The transmitter and receiver are linked automatically. After
successful linking, the red LED on the transmitter and the
red LED on the receiver module glow steadily.
To activate the control signals, move the joystick for drive
function (see also figure 2, no. 9) all the way up and then
back to the middle position.
The model boat is now ready to use.
