Defrosting with hot
air

In this section, you can find out how to defrost with
hot air 3 or with the defrost setting A.
Use the hot air operating mode to defrost and cook
frozen products 3.
Please note the following points:
H
Defrosted frozen products (especially meat) require
shorter cooking times than fresh products
H
The cooking time for frozen meat is extended by
the defrosting time
H
Always defrost frozen poultry before cooking so
that you can remove the innards
H
Cook frozen fish at the same temperature as fresh
fish
H
You can place frozen vegetables in aluminium
trays in the cooking compartment in large amounts
at the same time
H
When defrosting on one level, use shelf position 1
and on two levels use shelf positions 1 + 3
H
Please note the manufacturer's specification for
frozen food
