Tip:
To easily move your Espresso Machi-
ne, use the drop down swivel foot. The
knob is accessible after removing the
drip tray. When turned to the icon, the
swivel foot drops down and lifts the
Espresso Machine upwards, making it
easier to access the removable water
tank or move the Espresso Machine to
another location on the table. For ope-
rating the Espresso-Machine, do not for-
get to lock the swivel foot by turning the
knob back.
7. Clean water tank, filter holder and
accessories, portafilter, filter bas-
ket, milk jug, and bean hopper
using warm water and a gentle dish
washing liquid. Rinse well, than dry
thoroughly.
8. Place the appliance on an appropri-
ate working place near a suitable
wall power outlet.
Note:
Before each use, check the filling level
of the water tank. Change the water
daily. Fill the water tank with cold, fresh
tap water or bottled table water with
low mineral content. Do not use mineral
water, de-ionized water or other liquids.
TO INSERT OR CHANGE THE
WATER FILTER
To guarantee long lasting proper wor-
king order of your Espresso Machine we
recommend to use the designated water
filter and change the water filter regular-
ly every second month. You will find the
water filter and filter holder in the water
tank. Please use Gastroback water filters
(Art.-No.: 97765) only and contact your
vendor for further reference.
1. Remove the water filter and water filter
holder from the packaging. If the filter
holder is installed already, simply pull
it out via the white ring.
2. Soak the new water filter in a cup of
water for 5 minutes then rinse under
cold running water.

3. Disassemble the filter holder. For this,
simultaneously press the flaps on both
sides of the lower part, while pulling
the filter holder apart. Wash the filter
holder with cold water, taking specific
care to rinse the stainless steel mesh.
4. Insert the water filter into the filter hol-
der and reassemble the filter holder.
Turn the white ring in the filter holder
to the month of the next change. We
recommend to change the water filter
regularly every second month.
