5. Press the SELECT dial to start the clea-
ning cycle. The LCD display will show
a countdown timer showing the remai-
ning time for the cleaning cycle begin-
ning with 370 seconds. The "CLEAN
CYCLE" icon and the SELECT dial will
flash and the pump will start to ope-
rate several times. Some hot water
and steam could escape from the
portafilter. Ensure to keep your hands
away to avoid scalds.
When the cleaning cycle is complete,
the Espresso Machine switches back
to standby mode.
6. When the cleaning cycle has finis-
hed, remove the portafilter and ensu-
re the cleaning tablet has completely
dissolved.
7. If the tablet has not dissolved, repeat
the procedure beginning with step 3,
without inserting a new tablet.
8. Rinse the filter basket, portafilter and
cleaning disc thoroughly.
9. Extract an espresso to „season" the
machine and purge the system of any
remaining cleaner.

CHANGING THE WATER FILTER
To guarantee long lasting proper wor-
king order of your Espresso Machine we
recommend using the designated water fil-
ter and changing the water filter regularly.
Note:

97765) contact your vendor for further
reference.
To change the water filter
1. Take the water tank out of the Espres-
so Machine and empty the water

tank.
2. Then simply pull the filter holder out
of the water tank by the white ring.
Disassemble the filter holder and dis-
card the used water filter in domestic
waste.

3. Insert the new water filter into the
water tank according to the instruc-
tions in chapter ›Preparations‹.
CLEANING THE BURRS
Regular cleaning helps the burrs achieve
consistent grinding results which is espe-
cially important when grinding for espres-

Necessary tools: burr brush with tamping
fan removal magnet at the handle, grinder
outlet brush.
