9. Setting up the Transmitter

Please also observe the respective notes in the remote control instructions. Always familiarise yourself with the opera-
tion of the remote control before the first flight.
The remote control can be programmed for up to 5 flight models. This way, you do not have to newly program the
remote control when you want to fly a different model.
Before you start flying, make sure the correct model is set on the remote control. If you use the values of a
different model, the model you are currently using might crash.
You should note down which flight model you have programmed with which name and number in the
remote control. Stick this note on the back of your remote control, for example.

Operation of the Model Helicopter

a) Checking the connections
Check all screws for tightness before transport and flights. Vibrations at transport and during flight may cause screws
to loosen. Due to this, you need to conduct a thorough pre-flight check just as for a real helicopter.

b) Checking movable parts

Always check all movable parts and all parts with bearings for unobstructed movement before flying. They must be
easy to move, but without play. Apply some oil to the swash plate sliding sleeve (1), the pitch compensator (2) and the
tail rotor control bushing (3) so that parts can be easily moved.
Only use non-resinating oil. This can be special oil for flight models or sewing machine oil.
