• Remove the four fastening screws (5) of the tail rotor drive
and remove the shaft (6).
• The tail rotor is now disassembled as shown in figure 13.
Attach the tooth belt (7) to an assembly hole (8) with some
thread or wire.
• Pull the receiver aerial inwards.
• Remove the four screws (9) on the bottom of the fuselage
in front of the main landing gear. Use the fuselage swash
plate mandrel to reach the rear screws from above with a
sufficiently long Allen wrench.
• Remove the complete mechanics carefully towards the
front (10).
• For inserting, proceed in reverse order.
• Always use threadlocker when screwing "metal to metal"
during assembly.
• Before the next start, check all screws, functions and the
correct rotational direction of the tail rotor. If the tail rotor
rotates in the wrong direction, the drive belt for the tail
rotor drive was twisted during installation.
